# Delete a site

Deleting a Lansweeper site is permanent and cannot be undone. Before proceeding, back up any data or configurations you want to retain.

              Site deletion is permanent

              

Once a site is deleted, all associated data, including site settings, configurations, and content, is permanently removed. This action cannot be reversed.

## Delete a site with a paid subscription

If your site has an active paid subscription, contact our sales team to delete the site. This ensures there are no issues with your subscription or billing.

## Delete a site with a free plan

1. Go to **Site settings** and select the **General** tab.
2. Scroll to the **Delete site** section.
3. Select **Delete site**.
4. In the confirmation dialog, review the warning message.
5. Enter your site name in the confirmation field.
6. Select **Delete**.

Once confirmed, the site and all associated data are immediately and permanently deleted.
