Enable the Lansweeper Classic web console

Prev Next

If you manage Lansweeper from the cloud, you may still have a local Lansweeper Classic installation with its web console disabled (a Cloud-first setup). Some settings are only available in that console — for example, the LsAgent relay configuration or HP warranty API keys. Enable the console when you need to change one of them.

  1. On the Lansweeper server, run ResetWebUserRoles.exe in Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Tools, then select Enable Built-in Administrator.
  2. Provide a username and password to access the web console, then select Save.
  3. On the Lansweeper server, browse to the web console. If the ports weren't changed during installation, it's available at http://localhost:81. Enter the username and password from the previous step, then select Built-in Admin.

You now have access to the Lansweeper Classic web console.
