Trialling Lansweeper

Prev Next

Lansweeper offers two trial options: Lansweeper Sites and Lansweeper Classic. This article explains what each trial includes and what to do when your trial ends.

Trial overview

Lansweeper Sites

The Lansweeper Sites trial is also known as the Cloud-first trial. Choose this option to explore Lansweeper's web-based capabilities.

In a Cloud-first scenario, your Lansweeper license is managed from the cloud. A license key isn't required — your subscription is managed entirely from your Lansweeper Site.

To get started, see Install the Lansweeper Cloud-first trial.

Lansweeper Classic

Choose Lansweeper Classic if you want an on-premise solution.

In an on-premise scenario, you need to apply a license key in the local web console after installing Lansweeper Classic. To request a trial key, go to Start your Lansweeper Classic trial.

To get started, see Install Lansweeper Classic.

After the trial

When your trial ends, you can purchase a license or switch to a different installation type.

Stay with your current Lansweeper type

If your current Lansweeper type meets your needs, choose a plan on the Pricing & Plans page.

For more information, see Request a Lansweeper price quote.

Switch to a different Lansweeper type

If you want to try the other installation type:

  • If you trialled Lansweeper Sites and want to move to Lansweeper Classic, request a key via the Lansweeper Classic trial form.
  • If you trialled Lansweeper Classic and want to move to Lansweeper Sites, go to app.lansweeper.com/try to start your Cloud-first trial.
