View assets with issues

Being proactive in maintaining the health of your asset inventory is important to prevent device or application downtime, or long-term problems with failing hardware. Lansweeper offers a variety of ways to easily view your assets with scan issues, duplicate conflicts, or vulnerabilities.

View assets with scan issues

You can view a list of your assets with scanning issues through the Assets module's Filters feature.

  1. Go to Assets > Views > Filters.

  2. Select Scan issues from the Field dropdown.

  3. Select an operation and/or value to filter. Select + to add additional filters.

  4. Select Apply.

  5. If you're happy with the view, select Unsaved View > Save as new. If you’d like to revert to the previous view, select Discard changes.

  6. Enter a name for your view.

  7. Select Save as new.

Your view is added to Assets > Views > All views.

View assets with duplicate conflicts

Duplicate assets can be created intentionally or accidentally. Using a filter to see duplicate assets can help you prevent duplication conflicts.

  1. Go to Assets > Views > Filters.

  2. Select Duplicates from the Field dropdown.

  3. Select an operation and value to filter. Select + to add additional filters.

  4. Select Apply.

  5. If you're happy with the view, select Unsaved View > Save as new. If you’d like to revert to the previous view, select Discard changes.

  6. Enter a name for your view.

  7. Select Save as new.

Your view is added to Assets > Views > All views.

View assets with vulnerabilities

You can view detailed information about your assets with vulnerabilities, including lifecycle information, risk score, and affected assets in two ways:

  • In the Risk Insights section of a specific asset.

  • In the Risk Insights module.
