HVMND insights bring benchmarking data, recommendations, and best practices into your site. These insights are based on anonymized data aggregated across thousands of live IT environments.
With HVMND, you can:

- Receive recommendations: get suggestions for improvement based on data from comparable environments.
- Adopt proven best practices: learn from successful strategies adopted by others in the community.
Explore HVMND insights
To access your insights, go to Risk insights in your site and select Insights.
The first set of HVMND insights is available in Risk insights, with plans to extend these insights across the entire Lansweeper platform.
Currently, you can explore four HVMND insights that support strategic vulnerability management decisions:

| HVM-5-Site | CVE criticality comparison | Compares your organization’s distribution of vulnerability severities with other companies, ranked across four performance ranges. |
Benchmark your performance
Benchmark filters help you refine your comparison and gain deeper context into how your organization performs relative to others. You can benchmark against the following categories:
- All companies: compare your performance against all Lansweeper customers for a broad industry benchmark.
- Similar tech stack: focus on companies with similar technology environments with comparable asset numbers, asset types, and other relevant parameters.
- Industry: benchmark against other organizations operating in the same industry for context-specific performance data.
- Country: compare your performance against others located in the same country. Country designations follow the UN M49 standard for consistent, globally recognized classification.
- Segment: benchmark against organizations in a similar market segment: Enterprise (ENT), Mid-Market (MM), or Small and Medium Business (SMB). Segmentation is based on factors such as employee count and total asset numbers.
Benchmark results are ranked and divided into four equal ranges: worst, lower middle, upper middle, and best. These categories allow you to understand where your organization stands compared to others.
Security and compliance
HVMND insights complies with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA. HVMND collects only non-personally identifiable information (non-PII).
All data used by HVMND is aggregated and anonymized. Insights are derived from community data rather than individual data, so you benefit from collective insights while individual privacy stays protected.
