The AI asset management page is currently in early access. Features, pricing, and packaging are subject to change.
The AI asset management page lists every AI tool Lansweeper identified in your environment and lets you record how your organization treats each one. For each tool, you can assign an approval status and a risk level.
The page is built on the same detection data as the AI asset management dashboard. The difference is that the dashboard only shows you what was found, while the AI asset management page also lets you classify it.
Prerequisites
AI usage tracking must be enabled on at least one discovery action. Capturing AI-related activity is disabled by default, so no tools appear until you enable it. For more information, see Enable AI usage tracking.
Viewing the page, changing a tool's status, changing its risk level, and exporting the list are controlled by separate permissions, granted independently. A user might be able to view and export the list without being able to change any statuses or risk levels. Your administrator manages these permissions.
Open the AI asset management page
In your site, go to Governance > AI asset management. The page opens on the AI asset management view. To switch or manage views, select All views.

Summary widgets
Three widgets at the top of the page summarize the tools in the current view.

Both status and risk level start out unassigned. Until you classify your tools, every tool counts as Pending review and Unrated.
Table columns
The table below the widgets lists the individual AI tools. By default, Tool is a fixed column that stays in view while the other columns scroll horizontally. You can change which columns show, and whether each one is fixed or scrollable, in the Edit columns panel.

| Detected by | The detection method that identified the tool, for example AI Event Log. |
| Assets | Number of assets the tool was found on. Select the number to view those assets in your inventory. |
| Status | The approval status for the tool at your site. Defaults to Pending review until someone rules on it. |
| Risk level | The risk rating for the tool at your site. Defaults to Unrated until someone rates it. |
| Last detected | The date and time the tool was last detected on a device. |
| Visit count | How many times the tool was accessed on the device, for example "Visited 3 times." Hidden by default. |
| Protocol | The network protocol used when the tool was accessed, for example HTTP or HTTPS. Hidden by default. |
To search the table, enter a term in Filter by keyword. To narrow the list further, select Filters.
Add or remove columns
To change which columns appear:
- Select the columns icon above the table.
- In the Edit columns panel, select Add field(s) under either Fixed columns or Scrollable columns.
- Select the fields you want to show, then close the dropdown.
- To remove a column, select the cross next to its name in the Edit columns panel.
Assign an approval status
A new tool always starts as Pending review. You decide whether your organization allows it.
- In the table, select the checkbox of every tool you want to update.
- Select Change status.
- Select a status:
- Approved: your organization allows the tool.
- Unapproved: your organization doesn't allow the tool.
- Select Save.
A status records your policy decision. It doesn't enforce anything on the asset, and it doesn't prevent anyone from using the tool.
Assign a risk level
A new tool always starts as Unrated. The risk level is your own assessment. Lansweeper doesn't calculate it for you, so Low, Medium, High, and Critical mean whatever your organization decides they mean.
- In the table, select the checkbox of every tool you want to update.
- Select Change risk.
- Select a risk level: Unrated, Low, Medium, High, or Critical.
- Select Save.
A status or risk level is stored per tool and shared across your whole site, so everyone with access sees the same value and it persists after you leave the page. Filters, by contrast, only change what the current view shows you.
Export the list
To export the AI tool list, select the export icon above the table, on the right. Each widget also has its own download icon to export that widget's data. Exporting requires its own permission, separate from viewing the page.
