Lansweeper's AI tools let you query and act on your IT estate in plain language. Two tools are available: Lens Chat and the Lansweeper MCP server.
Lens Chat
Lens Chat is a conversational assistant built directly into the Lansweeper platform. No setup is required. It's available to all cloud users from within the product. Ask it questions about your IT estate or about how to use Lansweeper, and it answers based on your actual data and the Lansweeper documentation.
Lens Chat covers:
- Site data queries: Ask about assets, software, vulnerabilities, and users across your sites in plain language, without writing queries or building reports.
- Product how-to questions: Ask how to configure a scan, find a setting, or use a feature. Lens Chat pulls from Lansweeper documentation.
For more information, see Explore Lens Chat.
Lansweeper MCP server
The Lansweeper MCP server is currently in beta. Functionality and supported clients may change before general availability.
The Lansweeper MCP server connects your IT asset data to the AI assistant you already use: Claude, Cursor, Atlassian Rovo, and others. It's designed for users and ISVs who want to work with Lansweeper data in their own AI environment, without switching to the Lansweeper UI.
Once connected, your assistant can query your entire environment in plain language. The connection is read-only and OAuth-secured. Your assistant only sees the data your account already has permission to view.
For more information, see Explore the Lansweeper MCP server.
