Lens Chat is Lansweeper's built-in AI assistant. It's available directly in the platform, no setup or external tools required. Ask questions about your IT estate in plain language and get answers based on your actual data.
What Lens Chat can do
Lens Chat covers two capabilities:
- Site data queries: Ask about assets, software, vulnerabilities, and users across your sites in plain language. Lens Chat queries your live data and returns results directly in the conversation, without requiring SQL or report building.
- Documentation and how-to questions: Ask how to configure a scan, find a setting, or use a Lansweeper feature. Lens Chat pulls from Lansweeper's product documentation to answer.
Who Lens Chat is for
Lens Chat is designed for IT admins and managers who need fast answers from their estate without building a report. It's most useful when you're already in Lansweeper and want to answer a quick question (device counts, recent vulnerabilities, software installed across a site) without exporting data or writing queries.

- Export results to Excel, CSV, or other formats
- Create, save, or schedule reports
- Take actions in Lansweeper (such as triggering scans or modifying asset records)
- Access data from Lansweeper Classic (on-premises installations)
Availability
Lens Chat is available on the Lansweeper Platform. It is not available for Lansweeper Classic.
