Before you link a Lansweeper Classic installation to a Lansweeper Platform site, Lansweeper confirms your installation is ready. Every 12 hours, these prerequisite checks run in the background.
On the server hosting your installation, open the web console and select Link with Cloud site. A pop-up shows a pass or fail result for each check.
Each check below has its own page explaining what it verifies and how to fix it.
Prerequisite checks
Lansweeper runs the following checks before linking:
- Web server internet access
- Web server TLS 1.2
- Sync server status
- Sync server internet access
- Sync server TLS 1.2
- Lansweeper version
- Lansweeper license
- Lansweeper Platform capacity
Resolve a failed check
If a check fails, you get a notification in your alerts tab. Select Learn how to fix it to open the page for that check, then follow the instructions there.
You don't have to wait for the next background run. Once you've applied a fix, select Retry in the linking pop-up to run the checks again.
When all prerequisites pass, you can link your installation to a site.
